Microsoft Entra ID P2 (formerly known as Azure Active Directory P2) is available as a standalone subscription or bundled with Microsoft 365 E5 for enterprise customers.

If a P2 or Governance license expires, the Privileged Identity Management features will no longer be available in the directory, but permanent role assignments to Microsoft Entra roles will remain unaffected.
