Program Membership Overview

A Program Membership is a record that confirms a partner organization's eligibility and opportunity to participate in a special program managed by the Microsoft 365 Growth and Experiences team. This is the organization's unique identifier in the program and is used to issue statements, submit partner support requests, disputes, special registrations, etc.

Program Memberships are unique to a single MPN and program. Partners may have multiple memberships based on the structure of their organization and the programs in which they participate.

Example

Contoso Corporation has locations in the United States and France and participates in the FastTrack Ready Partner Program (FRP) and the FastTrack Partner Community (CM). Their program memberships would be structured as follows.

  • Contoso Corporation (US) FRP
  • Contoso Corporation (US) CM
  • Contoso Corporation (FR) FRP
  • Contoso Corporation (FR) CM

Program Membership Roles

The Primary Point of Contact (POC) and/or the Accounting Point of Contact (POC) are the default Program Administrators.

The Program Administrators assign individuals specific roles for each program they have a membership.

Note: Payment Central Contact does not automatically have access to view statements. The contact will need to be assigned the appropriate Portal Role by a Program Administrator.

Roles are as follows:

  • Program Members have basic access to the site and can participate in some program activities, such as submitting registrations and support cases.
  • Statement Administrators have access to everything that a Program Member has and have the ability to download statements.
  • Program Administrators have the most access, with full access to all program resources and capabilities. This includes the same permissions as a Statement Administrator and the ability to manage their organization's contacts/roles participating in the program.

The assigned individual is only allowed access to functions based on that role. Those functions are indicated in the following table.
