Release of New Growth Propensity Experience and Data in FastTrack Partner Center Experience (FPX)

New FPC announcement...

We are excited to announce the launch of Land and Expand (LXP) Growth Opportunities within FastTrack Partner Center Experience (FPX). Microsoft has broadened its Machine Learning models to encompass all M365 secure productivity workloads offering enhanced data insights for marketing, sales, and customer success organizations to upsell and cross-sell Microsoft products along the entire customer life cycle. Hundreds of signals such as marketing engagement, licensing, and usage are distilled into actionable insights at customer tenant level.

A modernized experience

  1. Richer visualizations and interactive charts that allow you to gain insights at-a-glance and target/filter opportunities faster.
  2. A more responsive experience that wraps UI components based on screen resolution and window size.
  3. More readily available metric definitions available via hovering/tooltip interactions.

Smarter Insights and data models

In this release we have updated our propensity models. The key highlights are:

  1. Updated customer tenant classification and targeting across key Modern Work products based on dominant license profile.
  2. New Usage-to-Revenue model for Secure Productivity (Office365 and Microsoft 365 business), which identifies customers ready for upselling or needing adoption acceleration based on key workloads.
  3. Extending propensity models to now prioritize E5 Security SKU with Microsoft Purview and Defender.
  4. Streamlined workload level incentive eligibility for MCI and CPOR to propel adoption initiatives.

The new experience emphasizes three models to identify accounts that are ready for upselling, based on an overall usage score. The data offers insights into specific workloads that fall above/below the thresholds required for upselling or expansion.

  • E3 Opportunities tab
Contains tenants with primarily O365 licenses. They are part of the E3 pipeline because any usage and upsell motions for these tenants are meant to encourage E3 license uptake.

  • E5 Opportunities tab
Includes tenants with primarily E3 licenses. They are likely part of the E5 pipeline since any usage and upsell motions for these tenants are meant to encourage E5 license uptake.

  • E5 Expansion Opportunities tab
Comprised of tenants with primarily E5 licenses. They are part of the E5 expansion pipeline because any usage motions for these tenants are meant to encourage further expansion of E5 licenses.

Additional improvements

  • EA Renewal dates have been updated to better match LSP/Reseller partner names. If you don't see EA renewal dates for some tenants, review those tenants again. If the issue persists, submit a support ticket via https://aka.ms/FPXsupport.
  • Significantly faster performance with reduced loading and navigation latency, enhanced FPX responsiveness for smoother interactions and quicker feedback, optimized navigation capabilities for a seamless browsing experience, and improved page load times for faster access to content and resources.
  • Total potential earnings now include both MCI and CPOR, with a detailed incentive breakdown, making it easier to understand the differences between incentive types and how each contributes to your overall potential earnings.
  • Optimized FPX for 1600x resolutions and higher, with a responsible UI design making it easier to view on smaller screens and mobile phones.

Known issues and limitations

  • The “Tenants” tab is unchanged. There may be some minor differences in usage data between the Tenants tab and the new E3/E5/E5 Expansion Opportunity tabs for now. We are working on revamping the Tenants tab as part of our roadmap.
  • The legacy “Opportunities” tab will not be available moving forward. This tab is built on now outdated models and does not contain information on all priority workloads
  • Horizontal scroll of table not visible at lower screen resolution.
  • FPX is optimized for Edge or other Chromium-based browsers. We currently don’t support Safari or Firefox.
